Langlotz will advise on how AI-assisted radiology reporting is validated and built around radiologists; Raidium to host November 10 webinar on the use and future of AI in radiology

PARIS, Nov. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Raidium, an AI imaging company building tools for radiology and oncology imaging, today announced that Curtis Langlotz, MD, PhD, Professor of Radiology, Medicine, and Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University, has joined its strategic advisory board. Langlotz will advise Raidium on the clinical validation and responsible development of AI-assisted radiology reporting.

"The radiology report is how our work reaches patients and the clinicians who care for them, and AI has been transforming how reports are being written for a while," said Langlotz. "The important question now is how to build these tools so radiologists stay in control, can see how a draft was produced, and can trust what they sign. I'm glad to support the Raidium team as they work through those questions alongside practicing radiologists."

Dr. Langlotz has emphasized that trust in AI for radiology depends on validating the full system, including how models, clinical workflows and radiologist review work together, rather than measuring a single model in isolation. He will help Raidium apply that standard as it develops and evaluates its technology with clinical partners.

"Curtis has spent his career on the questions that matter most to us: how radiologists communicate what they find, and how AI can find its right place in the reading room," said Paul Hérent, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer at Raidium. "His perspective will help us build our technology around the way radiologists actually work, with clinicians in control at every step. We're honored to welcome him to our strategic advisory board."

Langlotz joins Ludovic d'Apréa, Strategic Advisor, who joined the board in October.

Raidium will host a webinar, "Usage and Perspectives of AI in Radiology," on Tuesday, November 10, at 8 a.m. CST. Dr. Langlotz will join the discussion. Registration is open at https://app.livestorm.co/raidium/usage-and-perspective-of-ai-in-radiology.
